YEP IT DOES WORK .... I HAVE MANAGED TO MAKE THE SATELLITE SIDE WORK WITH A C-LINE AND ALL IS WELL, I WILL POST A STEP BY STEP GUIDE LATER. ITS ALL GOOD NEWS.

I have been trying for days to figure this out, interested to know what you did????

RIGHT GUYS PLEASE FF THIS CAREFULLY OR NOTHING WORKS.
HERE GOES NOTHING> THIS IS ONLY FOR LAN COMBO.
FIRST SOFTWARES NEEDED ARE (0128.UAD,1214.UA AND 0212.UA). ALL THESE FILES CAN BE FOUND ON THE EARLIER PAGES, JUST GO SHOPING.
NOW YOU NEED TO FIRST INSTALL 0128.UAD (SW+ALL DATA UPDATE). THEN NEXT BY INSTALLING STRAIGHT AWAY 1214.UA . REMEMBER NO FACTORY RESET OR POWER OFF THEN ON.
LAST OF ALL DO 0212.UA . THIS IS THE LATEST SOFTWARE.(SW+ALL DATA UPDATE).
THEN EXIT MENU AND YOU WILL SEE THERE WILL BE SOME CHANNELS ALREADY,DO A FACTORY RESET TO DELETE THEM.
NOW DO ALL YOUR SCANING FOR CHANNELS.
THEN ACCESSORY 8989 FOR CABLE, IT WILL BE AUTO ON. SWITCH POWER OFF FOR 5SEC. THEN ON AGAIN.
NOW GO TO NETWORK PUT TYPE ON,
IP SETUP TO AUTO,
SERVER SETUP IS HERE YOU ENTER YOUR C-LINE OR NEWCAMD THEN APPLY.EXIT TO SERVER THEN WAIT FOR 2MIN FOR BOX TO TALK TO NETWORK.
YOU SHOULD SEE AT THE END SAYING CONNECT.
BUT REMEMBER THAT IT SHOULD BE STABLE.
IF YES EXIT EVERYTHING TO LIVE TV AND ENJOY......

Hi, I have bought a HD combo box. I am VERY useless when it comes to these sorts of things but I am trying to help my parents. So some basic questions and I am very grateful for whoever can help me.

Is the free server gone live yet?

How do i get on? Do I just download Starview Combo LAN UK CS Firmware V1.00 and install it, then enter the right code for virg and then do a cable scan?

new here have the starview box not sure if its the clone box works fine when i load the codes how long will this type last, and what is the best cable box for me to be looking at getting and will the new box help when they change over to hd

what i am trying to get across here is the format in which we download and apply it to the box. in a haiste the box wont work but with carefully planned step by step way, it will work.

hi is this to use with starview hd combo + lan? if so just follow the setup guide and plug lan cable in and i should be ok to view? what channels would it be showing?
