Setting up the LAN

Hello everyone does anyone have step by step instuctions to set up LAN ive tried and its comes up with CCam and newcam D disconnected, ive manged to get into CS NET menu and register that is connected. can anyone help?

This is what you need for the combo as it combines both cable an sat.

we've just got the hd combo box and I've followed your instructions to update, and get to the part where I find key edit in the menu, but I can't see auto update anywhere... is there something obvious I've missed?! Also - do you need to keep the lan permanently connected if using cable connection?

I'm thinking of getting a devolo homeplug. is this any good or should i go wireless and with what?

I took out my non lan box and put it in the atic when n3 kicked in hopeing for a fix somewhere down the line. Mine is one of the 1st 500 boxes without the ethernet. Is there anything out there to help me get it up and running again. I keep looking for updates and see the non lan side hasn't been updated since feb this year.
