the box super loss of channels

hi guys i need some help, have lost all but the first 6 channels on my box super and do not know what to do this is all new to me and any help would be much apreciated.

Yep thats what i did on my SV5 m8 do a reset then scan then 1570 turn it on goto a SS channel and all should be fine

thanks desertdog but being ignorant of these things can i ask how do i get the factory reset codes and what is 1570 and the ss channel?

it says on the front of the machine the box super does it give the model number on the box somewhere

if your in ireland m8 your box is toast..

Do a factory reset.(code 0000) then do a rescan.
Press menu and then 1570. Turn emu on.
Exit out to a sly channel and let it update

Im just getting used to all this, pretty daunting ..anyway..

I have a box super, i can get into the 1570 secret menu, so can anyone help me with a) which box super i have and b) should I do a reset? and c) how do I do that?

My box has started to lose channels, like itv, channel 4 and some discovery channels, sky screen etc... still have the majority, its just annoying :-)

So any help offered will be greatley recieved and appreciated so much...im a bit of a girl with all this, being a girl helps , but the ex did all the tech stuff.

sounds like a sv3. press menu, 1570, check emu is on, press default, exit, exit, wait to update. best to start on 511.
btw, where are you??? might be important!!
