Lost channels on The Box Super USB

i am going to install the new version to my box to try and get back my channels, im in the b'ham area but am i right in thinking eventually all boxes will become dead as nag3 kicks in??

well thats cheered me up abit so aslong as everything up to date we shouldnt have a prob? we have to boxes in our house at mo, was beginning to think i had to fork out for sky hd then

I got Super USB box - none of channels work i done a rescan and reset factory defaults but still no luck. do i need a new firewire? I live in birmingham. has anyone with a super usb box in birmingham got there working.

download that to your usb stick mate then install it from usb selection on your menu, ive just done it all im in brum too, all working fine.

have done that, comes up as a wma file?? am trying to update but its sitting at 0% for ages and says not to turn off??? what do i do now??

thanks guys, have got channels back now, is there anyway i can get rid of all the duplicate channels i have now???

got it workin now, had to take out usb, power off and start again, it worked straight away next time, only took about 10secs to download

Well looks ike brighton has bit the dust.....really strange as my neighbour no got new cards yet......
anyway have tried reboot and normal set up and still finds arund 330 channels but only got 6 or 7 now.....usual 5 then cbeebies and some other one.
Aaaaaargh bummer.......not to worry......but now i am thinking along the lines of paying for a sky free sat....just over 120 fully installed with over 200 channels.... seems reasonable.....mind you i wont get fx and discovery like i do now.......Aaaaaaargh again !!!!
do you think anyone will sort codes outin future or are we dead and buried....is there any alternatives.....solutions to missing channel nightmare...

god im new to this, yeah i now have exactly the same prob and dont know if i need to update fifrmware,but i dont even know how to do that please?
