How to Manually update keys on Starview

i have found the secret menue but have how do i know what key to put in? sorry guys please help the box is a starview not the box

Just got mine working for the first time since yesterday. the codes have just been updated and that solved my problem!

hey guys i have updated the keys, and have latest firmware but once i go back 2 the tv, data is being updated comes up once change channel.... anyone else having this problem

i have checked and it has saved the key codes

[/FONT]     [FONT=Arial]Press 1570 this takes you into secret menu.
[/FONT] [FONT=Arial]Now hit ok on nagravision 

[/FONT]   [FONT=Arial]Next make sure your cable provider is listed at top NTL or TELEWEST C&W ect

[/FONT]   [FONT=Arial]Now change key 00 
[/FONT] [FONT=Arial][COLOR=#ff0000](YOU MUST SAVE EACH KEY INDIVIDUALLY - I.E. AFTER CHANGING KEY 00 MAKE SURE [/COLOR]
[/FONT] [FONT=Arial][COLOR=#ff0000]YOU STORE BEFORE CHANGING KEY 01 (TO STORE PRESS OK)[/COLOR]


[/FONT]     [FONT=Arial]Right now change key 01 (To change between the 2 keys highlight key number press right and left )

Thanx u so much for help with my starview 3 done all suggestions dowloaded keymaster but no luck only keys for ntl ulster we are england woud value any help in easy to understand english for absolute beginner don't know any shortcut jargon sorry

the ntl codes are named 'pure' try that and it should work

i have done exactly what you suggested meaning puttting the keys manually i the appropiate places but my box(the box super with rs232 connection)still is saying data updating and no pic.where am i going wrong
plz help for the love of god i need my box back

i am new to all of this and my starview 4 is having the same issue as everyone else i have read so far..
Sorry in advance if this has been answered but tried getting the key gen but no luck as i need to post something???
But would love to get this working.
Live in merseyside and on V***in and if anyone can post for me please on how to get it working that would be great

Got it working now... great forum and thank you everyone for their posts that helped me but if somebody can help my friend with the same issue but they have starview 3 box and the keys will not save

Run it & enter keys using the guide on page 1 of this thread.

It's not that hard kidda.

Oh, if you're in Liverpool you'll need the TW keys.

Please help here with the box pvr-put codes in ok but looked on keymaster for pure keys which i need but on key 1 there is one key to punch in missing at the end so anyone know how to leave this blank-every other batch of keys on all providers seems to be there without any missing.
