Don't know what type of Starview box I have, don't want to download wrong data can anyone help? only info I can give is that I purchased it around 18 months ago its silver in colour it has a serial number JN71106656

I have starview box but how can you tell which version i have?

Hi have the same query myself think I have sorted it
you go into menu on your remote
scroll down to system info,
then your system will show

Mine gives starview ver. 4 so I guess I have Starview 4 so no firmware available as yet,
Caution I'm no techy so if anyone has any other info please inform

Yup we need the maker of the fix to upload the BIN file, clearly the bin file is embedded in the new loader...but the new loader doesnt seem to work with some of our boxes...not quite sure what distiguishes our boxes and the ones that work with the new loader!

just need a BIN file to use with old loader!

please can any1 help me? im only getting some channels through, ive downloaded new firmware, even when i put in the codes for the last couple of days it was only letting the same channels through, i dont mean the fta channels, its letting sports stuff through but no discory if ya all catch me.
