Which SV box is it 6,7,or Combo
First turn off router & box. Reboot router, then reboot box. If that
doesn't sort it out you may need to flash box with latest firmware.

hi can any one tell me why xxx cannals do not work on starview 7 all the cannals but them thxs joe

They are far from XXX anyway. The Smut channels are mostly PPV now and not on either the Starview or Kryptview server. There used to be a few available but I believe they have all been taken off now.

Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview 7 Carling V1.04 Factory reset before you re-flash box
Use this firmware. You don't have to alter settings, they are preset
for UK on this firmware, just scan for channels
Weak signal may be causing freezing (below 90 on SV7)
Check all cables & connections are OK if signal or quality are weak
You usually need to pay basic TV sub to receive decent signal.
Server overload is most likely causing most of the freezing at
peak viewing times, but if your set-up is good it will minimize
freezing problems.
Look at Bytemaster's thread about altering router settings. I'm not sure it will help freezing issues but it won't help to try it &
revert back to original settings if freezing persists

etc. These are preset on f/ware 1.04

hey guys , my ip adress is stayin blank and box is sayin not connected , i av tried all the usual ways to fix it (rebooting)
factory reset etc
when i select network and select auto all the fields are stayin as o.o.o.o . wud it help to type them in manually and if so wher do i find my i.p adress please .

Did you read reply to your other post & try that first.
You can enter IP manually. You need to look in;
NETWORK & SHARING CENTRE on your PC to get connection
details & enter IP same as PC except last no. DIFFERENT
e.g. PC/IP 192.168.1.5----------SV7/IP 192.168.1.14
Subnet mask exactly same on SV7 as on PC
Enter those 2 values in box & rest will fill in themselves.

If the last no. of IP on your PC is 65, then change 65 to say 69
Enter subnet mask exactly as it is on PC. Press OK to save values.
You should not have to enter any other values they should fill in
when box connects to internet Reboot box to let it connect & check
IP values are saved in box after reboot If you're having no luck change 69 to any other 2 digit no. If you have to enter user dns manually then do so
