Server is down, never had this trouble when Dboxes were working ....

Just out of interest, even when server was up and running, could not get any of the adult channels, any reason for this????

hi, just installed starview carling v1.07. have gone back onto channels waited for about 10 minutes still saying connecting and channels are scrabbled. what do i need to do.

CONFUSED.........I AM!!!!!!!

Hi folks, New to this site but not to starviews.
After perusing the various sites there doesn,t seem to be a lot of mention at all about the boxes off or the fix for them.
This site seems to be the best site for up to date info..
So,to summarise:1- The servers are down.
2- There is newer firmware than the carling 1.02 version that i,m using but theres no point in downloading this onto the boxes until the server is back up and running.
So, when the servers are back up,will my box come back on using the older version or will i still have to flash with the 1.04 version. I hope my summary is correct.I would welcome your comments or CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions.

constructive suggestion? ok. hang on to your box and if the faint miniscule glimmer of hope that is the server starting up again becomes reality, then hey your laughing.
Personally, id start looking into getting a sat box real soon mate

Just my luck i have just purchased a sv7, came here for info and firmware, and have just read about the servers being down, when does chinese new year end?.

Should have gone for the Kryptview.

hi there new to all this, if i dwl the latest firmware on to my usb stick ,then factory reset my starview7 then just insert the usb go to options in the menu section and let it run from there will this then run its self ?

When u have scanned u will find all the channels but most blank , u need to read about starview on here as there not working any way

Am I missing something here?

I've downloaded the carling 1.04 update, put in on usb drive.

Factory reset on the box, put the usb in gone to select the carling update and it doesnt recognize it as an update so i cant do anything with it...

Help would be much appreciated
