i am really bad at all this kind of stuff but here goes
i've a starview 2 the box only ever used the gtrom v4.00 updater and file thebox_UK_H20070709_451eE_api but now its gone off i've tried to work out how to update by reading these forums but i try and nothin makes sense to me could some one please pm me with step by step details of how to update and in terms a child could understand as i think thats the only way i'll be able to do it

Can we have a dummie guide on how to flash the starview 2 that are on version 451eE. The reason is because am following the step to flash with 454 and after that flash the logo file, But it still does not work for me, the box screen just displays "ON", but nothing appears Please can someone help?

you need to flash the new firmware after you have flashed the logo file to the background file! so (454 then, logo then, 802) see if that works

I can confirm this fix works for SV2 The Box - thanks to all involved. Can the moderators advise on how to sort the channel order. The new fix has all the looks of a channel bin for SV3 but will not let you load a channel file from SV3 to this fix nor will it let me dump the original channel order to this fix? Thanks in advance.
