thanks ramjet for information about 8.02/4.55 firmware but in your qoute you ssid not to use vista os since thats what im using i'd liked to know why if possible?

Lost Channels Starview 2 The Box

Hi,

Is there a new bin file for Starview 2 The Box as V4.57 Firmware does not descramble premium channels anymore for me?

Tried several times and it seems to have picked up channels but
they are not descrambled?

Anyone have any ideas?

my starview the box11, started losing channells today, have rescanned, get some back and lose others, should i try and download other soft ware?

I upgraded to 4.57 using file thebox_h20081222_457eE_api.bin

Did factory reset - rescan - EMU ON

Lots of channels but most do not work. Is there a newer file for the London/Essex area maybe?

Any help much appreciated.

sorry to bring you bad news but a lot of the essex area has gone to nagra 3 so it will not be long before you will only be able to get channels 1 to 5 and there is no cure

i have also used the other fix whats the difference? do we need to do this again with this fix or will everything be ok with the other fix.

factory reset 0000 to delete,auto scan your provider from direct feed,when channels loaded,exit out then menu1570 keycode enable then exit out.
