I hear what you are saying but setting up on my own against a national company who's parent company are global is not an option it may be tiresome fighting windmills but they are beatable fighting a wind farm is much more difficult and the pay cheques he signs have a total on them he has decided not what matches the timesheets

from my own experience of changes to contracts, or terms and conditions,
your employer has to give you a 90 day consultation period before any changes can be made, in the 90 days you can arrange a grievance hearing to discuss your objections, and put your views or ideas across,,
but your employer doesn't have to take on your views, he just has to listen to you,
if he refuses you a grievance hearing then you would automatically win any industrial tribunal hearing,
my advice would be, get everyone to request a grievance hearing and for you to go into every meeting with your workmates as a representative(you are allowed to take a union rep, or a work colleague with you), it would slow down any planned changes, and it would enable you to act as a rep, without the need to get people to join a union.!retupmoc eht ni deppart m'I !pleHComment
