    could you give up alcohol and if not why not

    as my darling niece is expecting she is obv not drinking. bit of a to-do with her b/f re drinking. at first he said he would stop while she is pregnant. he lasted a week!!

    so

    could you give up alcohol. if so how long etc.

    got to admit i dont drink that much now as i have too many other things to spend my money on. luckily im as daft sober as i am drunk and still enjoy nights out/in etc.

          Alcohol not a prob but biscuits would be a killer.

          put a pint of beer in front of me and a tin of biscuits, can live without the beer but the biscuits would not have a chance.
          and would not stop at one.

                                                      I dont agree a man must stop drinking during a womans pregnancy. She cant drink as it could cause damage to the baby but theres nothing stopping the man having a pint or two.

                                                      I wouldnt stop not because I cant but because I enjoy a pint reasons: tastes good, sociable, relaxing...........
