Lainie i gave up alcohol in 2001-2002 while i trained for the london marathon, i found it really easy, hardest part was trying to get my mates to understand my reasons for abstaining from the liquor and drinking cokes- yuuukkk

Lainie i think you are looking way to much in to this several of us have given you reasons why, if you dont see them as valid reasons then thats your choice but they are to us. Having a drink does not have to be a problem.
erm where did i say it was a problem having a drink??

its you guys that got all defensive not me

jeeso its not about telling someone whether they can drink or not. i think its you guys thats got the wrong end of the stick here.

i have absolutely no objections to my other half drinking. i wouldnt stop him drinking. the only time it would be a problem was if he was pissing all our money against the wall but hes not like that. infact its me that spots the booze offers in the paper and goes to get it for him.

theres no need to judge me

It's a cheap (8 cans for 10 euro) but nice cider.
You can make a Snow White cocktail with it by adding 7up to end up with 7up in cider.
            Oh please yourselves.
