Getting back on track...

Shady has already covered my biggest issue with cyclists..... Not using the dedicated cycle lanes that keep them safe.

The amount of times I've nearly flattened cyclists due to their inept understanding that the sectioned off lane, with a picture of a cyclist, is there to stop them scratching my car.

When I get the astra back on the road I might actually be able to run some of the ~~~~ers over without worrying about the scratches to the paintwork.

What been a bit more awake (and not too close to work) - they would have had a piece of Meat through their window.

Use the bloody cycle path...have you seen how dangerous it is.
Would you drive into obstacles that the cyclist faces every day...No ?

so why should a cyclist be made to ride into obtacles , many of which are cars.

I don't live in NY, & all the cycle lanes around here are clear of any obsticles (that might be because of the 20cm high curbed island that runs the full length of the lanes to stop motor vehicles from entering it)

i was working in london recently,and driving home on 3 successive nights along the same route,,a route that they have now allowed cyclists to travel in the bus lane,,i was completely gobsmacked at the way cyclists ride along the roads
there must have been at least 30 or so in a group riding in the bus lane,,which is ok,,but when they approached a stationery bus 30 cyclists now want out of the bus/cycle lane and into the driving lane,,it was total chaos,,a real danger for cyclist and motorist,,then we approach traffic lights,,everyone stops,,,lights go green
then they pedal like ~~~~~in crazy to the next set of lights and we eventually catch them up,they are now spread right across the road,lights go green we can hardly ~~~~in move while cyclists get on there way,,once up to speed back in bus lane until they reach the next stationery bus !!! and so it went on for about 5 or 6 miles
total ~~~~in chaos
ban all cars !!!!!
