Been to Holland and everything is geared up for cyclists they have right of way in built up areas, trains have carriages to carry bikes and there is that many bikes nobody steals them.

Ok so as the other guy hasnt posted i'll start off wait for his responce

last week i was in Poland Street on my cycle, van in middle of road making reverse bleeper noises, so i droppes a gear, gives it large, round the side of this van parked on the yellow double line is another vechile, dont know what it was or color, at this point i'm still doing 16 MPH, and missed by inches the only other Inglish guy in Poland street, he was Inglish as he said "watch it mate", so another split second would have deffo been broken bicycle and broken member.

So perhaps the knob in the van could avoid using reverse thrust to park and risk causing an accident

At least you have designated areas for bikes, even if it's just a line in the road. Here in the Middle East, the workers ride their bikes between the sidewalk and the road, usually with some large cargo on the back. It doesn't help that they move against the traffic. It's just a recipe for disaster.

Aye but cyclists in the UK don't think they have to obey traffic laws, I see no end of them running red lights, riding on the footpath and the wrong way up one way streets, riding on the wrong side of the road and they wonder why they get involved in accidents? Not to mention the lack of lights in winter as though they don't need to be seen. Have to say that if I worked close enough to cycle I might well do it, but I wouldn't risk my life doing something stupid just to get to work...

theres nothing in the dk rules to say you cant cycle in front of a 40. Ton lorry ay a roundabout, nor is there about cycling up a one way street

In the past week I've almost chalked up two cyclists. One was a braindead moron chav riding a black bike, wearing black clothes, at night, with no lights....in the middle of an unlit road.
His underwear defo needed throwing away.

The second was a camel toe witch on a roundabout. While sat at the next road watching me pull onto said roundabout at speed... she pulled out in front of me.... still looking at me bearing down on her at speed.
There wasn't a chance in hell she could get across alive, even if ET was riding shotgun. She did see sense & turned left instead of going straight over. That is the only thing that saved her life.

So just now on the way home, end of road two lanes, hang a left, those fans of the beautiful south, carry on reguardless

i was at front of que, lights go green, idea is to get off the lights asap so i can say bicycle beats a car off the lights

so hangs a left, onto dual carrage way 30 mph zone, traffic in distanse built up, some bitch in a vw races past, as VIP member entitled to play in the traffic, so does an emien and goes round the outside round the outside of the solid traffic, now in front of her car, the traffic on left starts to clear, looks at speedo pedaling at 30 mph, need to get towards the sidwalk before run out of energy, sees a gap on the left not much bigger than a rickshaw takes it, then ran out of energy 15 mph

so got home to dk quicker

At lunch time i was coming up to one of them Mini roundabouts, i hangs a left off the first exit then cuts across the lane at 90 Degrees to go across the 'input' of the 'output' i just come from - some bloke in a honda mouths something that i was in the wrong, so i shouts back "DK VIP Member - entitled to do that"

Didn't hear his reply.

Who was in the wrong, i didn't trafficate right because wasn't turning right.
