I agree. nothing is said about car exhaust fumes. People commit suicide using them, yet millions of cars are spewing these fumes into our faces.

I don't know if anyone here is old enough to remember flowers etc. growing at the side of country roads. Not anymore.

Recently when out for a walk I had to climb onto the verge to get past a parked car. The occupant was heating something in a spoon using a candle. I should imagine it would take along time to heat your soup this way.

I am not a smoking fan though I do suffer from asthma. Also smoking bans are great you can go out for a nice meal and not have it ruined with someone at the table next to you smoking as they have finished their meal and you are just starting yours. Long live the smoking in public places ban.

personally i think they dont want everyone to quit smoking, they make far too much money from it, i think all the advertising front about them killing you is just so they can be seen to let you know the dangers but they know for a fact that everyone wont quit.

if that was the case they'd just make it illegal to smoke

I smoke cigarettes frequently throughout the day and dive in to a nice pipe after my dinner at home. i even go as far as blending/rubbing my own tobacco's and infuse them with rum and single malts to great effect, the internet is seriously usefull

Sure smoking is bad for you, but ive got a family member who lost his eye from cancer from using his mobile phone too frequently. Notably he's never smoked a day in his life.
Everyone has a mobile nowadays so the microwave emissions are surely more harmful to people than a lungfull of diluted smoke, but hey a billion dollar industry is worth more than peoples health right?

Since the smoking ban came into force theres been no signs of cancer rates subsiding. The government just demonises anything it can readily fix in order to look like its actualy creating some tangable health benifit, when in reality its just propaganda and scaremonger tactics designed to maintain the status quo.

Seems people are too busy watching celebrity big brother to even begin to realise just how shit our country is rapidly becoming.

Four years ago we had a house party. About twenty people were present. Before a week was out, fifteen of the people present had the winter vomitting bug. Some actually had it that night(me). I checked up on the winter vomitting bug and here is what I discovered.

This is the bug that spreads rapidly through cruise liners etc. People who have the gene that makes them susceptible to breast cancer don't catch the bug. Guess what, the five people at my house who did not catch it were sisters, Three of them had breast cancer.

To me that was no coincidence. You can wake up now.
