newspaper from the day she was born, mix cd of top ten from the day she was born, peice of jewellry containing her birthstone, etc, stick em in a box. In my expereince wome care not for the cost of presents, all they care is how much you thought about them.

Good idea in theory, but me and Mrs Pumpy get hayfever so there's never any flowers in the house.

Not unless i walk in the woods and pick some mushrooms.

Maybe take her to a concert, check out if her favourite singers are on in town

as Krypton says , get her the newspaper from the day she was born, i got this for my missus a few years back, it comes in a nice hard back form, ( think it was an option between the daily mirror and the telegraph ) and its got an embroided message on it too.
