I read what has happen to the garage and it is sad to see. I don't know what else i could do. I tried to to be a bigger part of Digital Kaos. Yes i have downloaded off the site but for only personal use and for that i say thank you for sharing and sorry i couldn't share anything except knowledge to the few that asked.

Hi mate.. you seem to be a regular contributor.. Your posts obviously carry some good stuff as you have been thanked a few times.. Stick around, we need guys like you.. People are rewarded on this site purely for the help they give.. Carry on and I'm sure you too will see benefits

I have monitored this situation all day and have read the many posts on the subject and wholeheartedly agree with the decision of the forum operaters.

I too seem to be denied access to the Garage - getting the "permissions" error page when trying to access the Garage from the Site Navigation column on the home page. But, strangely, can still access if I navigate through the recent posts page.

I will admit that I have found some of the software available very useful for my work and for personal use and have been guilty of downloading from the links posted in certain threads. but I have tried to contribute and help where I could, perhaps I haven't done enough I really don't know.

This is very strange and also confusing.

Would a closed section on the forum that members have to work there way up to get access to be an idea?

I`m happy to see it, There is alot of quality info in there and it needs to be ..er..not sure of the word..regulated perhaps? Some will be more prone to share with it being regulated, you think?

at first i must say that this forum is best what i have to see. lot of people that want to help.
i totally agree with restrictions of garage section. iam day by day in my real garage and learned lot from this site.
this forum help me lot to be better in my work.
let the good people stay...hate software sharpers.

I understand what they are doing. As soon as we put info on server share, the downloads were alarming. Problem is they banned some who helped!
I am sure not on purpose?
I will be patient.

the only real problem (other than being a pain to regular users)
is that admin say to try and stop stealers from profiting..

which is fine, and all good members will agree 100% with there desicion,
however if the stealers are the only people that now have these softs, then surely there going to be making even more ??? $$$$ now????

Everyone who has been banned was banned for a reason, be it there own stupidity or not. Every change we make is for the benefit of the site and it's members, always has and always will.... Show some trust and have a little faith

I definitely agree with what the administrators have done, myself taking advantage of the huge amount of knowledge and resources available in the forum, however as BUG was saying there should be a way to earn our way back to it with a closed section for example where we could post stuff we find somewhere else
