The 'Gas' prices are ~~~~ all to do with me.

I cycle to/from work - as fuel is so expensive - the money saved i use to buy junk with off ebay.

Now DK Rules prevent VIP members with no kids using the "Parents & Brats" parking bays, but it they didn't i would use them, there just
seems to be NO end of people roll up without their brats
or with brates that are clearly manufactered after the cut off date
to be alloud a space.

Tesco has its uses, as I sometimes used the petrol pumps in a Tesco, on my way to shop at Lidil.

I shop in Tesco for convenience, but also shop elsewhere (i.e. Lidl) for specific items and when I have issues I take them up with customer services.
For instance, they themselves have admitted to having difficulty controlling their 'chill chain' leading to many chilled items (usually milk) being spoiled whilst days within the 'use by' date.

I often buy fuel at Tesco, but also elsewhere, and over the past 10 years of monitoring usage I have seen no difference in fuel consumption regardless of where purchased except when I have consciously opted for a specific product (i.e. Excellium or suchlike) that specifically claims to give better MPG, and then the difference is only minimimal.
The only time I noticed any difference with supermarket fuel was after filling up at Sainsbury's and my car playing up on the way home - I ended up breaking down and having the fuel filter replaced.

I was actually in Gerrards Cross when 'Tesco' collapsed the train tunnel - thanks to John Prescott forcing the development on the local community that didn't want it in the first place. That sort of thing is perhaps more worrying than the availability/price of individual grocery items.

Lidl have done away with chiller & freezer storage for delivered stock.
These deliveries come in at all times of the early morning & sit in the stock area until a manager opens up at 7am. Not the best way to cut down costs, which is why the no longer fit them to new stores.
Add to this that the managers are now responsible for exact order levels. So the store is full & there's no stock to store out back.

Ever wonderd why you can never get their frozen donuts anymore?
Two boxes ordered for the next two days. Sell out in 5 hours. But no freezer to store more out back.

Just been to buy a Valentines cars for the *HOT*bird in the parts place, the cheaper cards say "Made In China" - you can naff orf if buying China cards when we can make them here in Ingland.

Went for the slightly more expensive one, didn't say Ingland but it didn't say China either.
