he may have been imprisoned unfairly if the story is as he says it was but it could be akin to a child having just broken a window saying "it was like that when i got here"
the fact is that the police would have fully investigated the case and the prosecution would have pored over the details.
the guilty verdict would have been reached because he had no evidence to support his case and because the judge believed he was guilty.
whatever yours or anyone elses feelings are about the case are regardless of the fact that he was found guilty and sent to prison.
he has the right to appeal if he wants to.
