I can only say
at that.
For every pound spent on the National Lottery, it is split in the following:
50p ***8594; Prize Fund
28p ***8594; Good Causes
12p ***8594; Government
5p ***8594; Retailers as Commission
5p ***8594; Camelot
4.5p ***8594; Camelot for Operating Costs
0.5p ***8594; Camelot for Profit
Seems the government take 12%, wonder which expenses that goes towards. 10% to Camelot. So the question has to be what do the government do with it?, and I can't find the answer to that right now.
In 2010
Camelot 2010 Annual report - 3. Operating Profit
Operating Profit ?44.9m in 2010, though that is obviously after all 'other' expenses are paid.
