        Cheers for info zee.

I also wish it was staying on BBC for all the races, their coverage is excellent.

We all know what Sky did for football...can they do the same for F1 ???. I would assume that Tony Jardine will be their figurehead but he is NO Martin Brundle.

I won't miss that wee argumentive sh*t Eddie Jordan though, so thats a plus.

Dnt worry about Brundle he'll be on Sky Tony Jardine i think hes a top bloke knows his racing n use to work with Brundle etc......I wnt miss Eddie either

Im sure when ITV first got F1 Sky had shared it for a year with them just before they jumped ship on to A1.

However this time around i recon Sky will keep it for good and once the contract is up for renewal i think theyl get total rights. Can't see BBC getting it back now

I also expect Wimbledon to be the nxt big thing Sky gets hold of after the shock of NBC losing its 43 year long running coverage in the U.S to ESPN after they paid a huge $400 mill, Sky will probably do the same over here when BBC's contract is up.

get use to it because forseeable future there will be ore repeats on the BBC already confirmed withlots of cut backs occuring allover the BBC. Alot of shows have been scrapped coz of it some of it linked with the move to Salford. By the way heard theres no Royal Family Special this xmas the writters finished the script far to late so its moved to nxt year

Im not suprised by Brundles tweet because when ITV lost the rights he wasn't happy with Bernie and said ITV were so good to F1 and to him aswell as Bernie, but money talks with Bernie. He wasn't happy going back to the BBC.

Bernie's time will be up sooner rather then later tho the people he represents had to release a statement after the race on Sunday saying "CVC Capital Partners. Ltd. is not seeking a replacement for Bernie Ecclestone and intends to retain him as chief executive officer of Formula 1"

There must have been some reason for them to release a statement like that, just think people want him to go and he probly will by the end of nxt season

i have no problems with bernie to be honest

i think giving sky F1 rights is the best thing thats happened to the sport in a long time and a huge milestone in f1s history

regardless what people think about it not being free you get what you pay for and sky has revolutionized every sport they have touched from darts snooker football even speedway

look at it this way even football doesnt have its own dedicated channel

think about the sheer amount of coverage they will have pre and post race they will be there all weekend

and not have to cram everything into 1 show

i mean bbc used radio commentry from 5 live for practice seasons !!!!

alltho he is a great commentator not the same as having a team track side just for practice

with brundle on his way watch many other big names to follow next season will be nothing short of epic

why is it only sky that can revolutionize a sport though?

its just camera's and technology that is widely available to anybody that wants to implement it.

i have sky anyway but i think its abit shit that the terrestrial channels always end up losing out to sky because of money.

                              ****s

last thing we need is a andy gray and richard keys type scenarios for F1

they allow individuals with agenda's to monopolise each sport they cover.
