maybe you would care to read the rest of the thread and you would see that the man you talk about that runs commentary and grids walks has joined sky team so maybe the bbc can go film some toilets.

How many drivers in the F1 are from poor back grounds? You need milllions just to fund yourself.

"In support, both Natalie Pinkham and Ted Kravitz will scour the pitlane in search of the inside scoop on what's occurring, with Kravitz also co-presenting the magazine show that Sky Sports have also announced will be part of their package."

Does this mean no more grid walks from Brundle?

Good to see Steve Rider back on the box aswell doin abit of F1

At the end of the day we will see the benefits of the games when quite alot of the money pours straight back in to the poverish communities that need it. F1 teams may be based in the UK but what have they done for our communities. They just make the rich richer, a donation every now n then doesn't cut the mustard.
if you honestly think the olympic games will help small communities then your mad mate.

all the money spent on merchandise and ticket costs will go to the government. as will the sale of the ground once its gone......."if" there is any profit it will go into their coffers and not be used to re-develop england. i doubt if any of it will be used to help dig us out of the financial mess this world sits in right now.

are we as a society going to keep falling for the crap they feed us?..i really thought people were wising up to this kind of thing now.....

maybe you would care to read your own post again where you said sky would revolutionise the sport and pour more money into it and give it better coverage?

becuase what your saying above is that sky will do the exact same thing as the bbc and have bernie and martin brundle walking down the pit before a race.....

so basically sky are goign to do the exact same thing with the two same people the bbc already used?

                  hmmmmm

                  when shall i say wow?

                    it just gets worse

even though i already said she was the face of f1 on my previous post....having this confirmed just made my heart sink.

                    1) she is a midget
2)she is ugly close up (see the programme in a league of their own)
                    3) she knows jack shite about F1
                    4) how the fcuk is having her going to improve coverage?

this is worse than i thought, and even worse people are already drooling over it....

que the pastic sets, plasma screens, new intro music, loads of ads, loads of crap interviews with nobodies, information that we already had from the bbc

How many of these so called fit presenters actually do know what they're talking about, not many. Even tho i made the eye candy remark, i had a think, maybe Alex Hammond would have been a better choice.

If Georgie Thompson and Alex Hammond presented F1 on Sky with their Norks hanging out, and/or shooting ping pong balls to eachother, I still wouldn't subscribe to sky F1.

As I say, swing your dish to RTL for 2012, stuff the phone hacker.

Sky = no good will comeof it!!

It is disappointing that only Sky will be showing all races live next season but at least extended highlights will be available from the BBC for all those races they are not covering live. The second half of this season was so dull that I would have been quite happy with that this year!

I cannot imagine what Sky will be showing on a dedicated formula 1 channel that will attract many people who enjoy watching the races but find all the endless chat boring.

I only recently learned that not only do Sky subscribers have to pay for their channels, but they show adverts too

there is no extra charge for the F1 channel on a Sky Sports package and the entire race will be advert free nxt year on Sky they've already said.

God knows how long this advert free race will last because we all know Ruperts Sky is all about the money so beyond nxt season i think they'll have ads.
