im not calling for his head, but sure to god he hasnt forgotten what this type of shite tactics did for us last Dec / Jan..

When he lets the team go for it we are second to none.. when he chooses to stifle the play we are dreadful

hopefully thats the best thing that could have happened as he wont think its a good idea again.. but you would have thought that would be the case last Dec but it was still the same in Jan

No sweat, a win would have been nice but lets not forget it's the 1st game of the season. I agree about Bon Jovi he should have stayed on the bench and maybe yossi should have been on sooner, At the end of the day spurs had the better of us in the first half and again we played catchup in the second.

We certainly are missing Xabi and Gerrard cant be in 2 places at once to fill that role.

lets not forget that if you realistically want to win the league you cant loose more than 3 games a season.. so i hardly think loosing the first is not a problem..

negative tactics cost us, any team will have the better of us if we sit deep and let them attack us with nothing in reply

excellent.. Benitez has choosen to slate the referee for not giving us a second penalty instead of looking at why we didnt have a shot on target in the first half..

Was a stonewall pen though when all said and done. and regardless of shots in the first half it could have been an equalizer.

equalizer or not we were poor and we paid for it! we shouldn't be drawing with spurs team we should be beating them! There deserved too win cause at least there played like there wanted too win
