Open again but under new rules that will be announced soon. But these will not affect the genuine fans that want to talk about LFC.

Plus the number of pms received from those genuine fans have also not gone unheard and I can see the thread means more than even I thought to some.

One thing I ask in the interim, "Please stay on topic".

    Thanks.

      Great news
      Sir Alex Ferguson in 1988

"This isn't just a job to me." "It's a mission. I am deadly serious about it. Some people would reckon too serious. We will get there, believe me. And when it happens, life will change for Liverpool and everyone else - dramatically."

      Sir Alex Ferguson. (20)

The Anfield Wrap // Footie // Fashion // Music // Culture

I don't know if many of you here have read The Anfield Wrap or even listened to their weekly podcasts, but if you haven't and you class yourself as a clued up Liverpool fan then give them a look. Excellently written articles and a great 1hr weekly podcast from Liverpool..

Another great post this afternoon from the people responsible for it

Yea i've listened to the podcasts and would recommend any fan to do the same

                THE TRUTH
                The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

glad the threads back up again, big ta to sats. as far as dalglish and suarez go , dont see the club letting either leave for reasons i would of thought were obvious.

I read the Suarez footballing folk devil and i was outraged at this quote:
As one prominent columnist put it, Liverpool had become ?outraged by everything, ashamed by nothing?. Finally, the politicians, as Cohen argued they would, ?pronounced their solutions?. For George Galloway, writing on his Twitter page, ?if Dalglish doesn?t sack Suarez, the Home Secretary should deport him?

Over what? I'm sure if he refused to shake the hand of a white player nothing would be said. What is this world coming too. Liverpool FC doesn't have to be ashamed for anything since the club did nothing. I wouldn't be surprised that what Galloway said would stop some some players from coming to England to play football. I hope you don't think this is off topic since it has to do with Liverpool FC.

Let us all move on now from this Saurez/Evra affair.

bothe clubs are willing to move on now and so shall us

i did post a strong post regarding Saurez, which ended in a couple of incidents, and since then Saurez and Dalgleish Apologised ,and hats off to them for being man enough.
now is the time to put all this crap behind us , we the staff are trying our best to keep the football threads open, especially Satsmo and Bulldog.

Lets try keep it above board and nothing fired personal towards other members, if any one feels things are getting out of hand, please PM a member of staff who is online at that time, and not let it go too far..

I was past it 30 seconds after it happen. I was only pointing out how out of hand it has become if someone thinks someone should be deported over a handshake. I'm am more concerned about Liverpool making 4th than some stupid issue.

i think 4th at the best now for Liverpool, you cant see past the 1,2,3 now, but i think its a close thing between Arsenal, Chelsea , Liverpool, for 4th, i cant see Newcastle keeping up with the pace as much as i would like to.

4th at best depends on how we react from now till end of season.

Also the way the gooners are playing think maybe weve missed the boat, hope im wrong.

we all thought newcastle would have dropped away by now but the fact they havn't is a great credit to them so i wouldn't rule them out at all weve now played all the top 4 away so its in our own hands if we don't make we'v only ourselves to blame its stand up and be counted time
