Maxi wasn't a prolific goalscorer and Kuyt couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo from 2ft. Maxi was a decent player but no big loss so no worries there

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Apparently we've had a bid for PSV Belgian winger Dries Mertens for ?14 million accepted, although PSV has totally denied it, the rumours are rife over twitter and his wiki profile has been updated but these are 2 sources which can hardly be relied upon.

SSN saying NCL want Carroll on season-long loan then make a permanent deal.

It's not that difficult to work out, subtract the sale figure from the original transfer fee

I wonder did Comolli have a sell on fee with NCL at 25%

I don't think Liverpool will move Carroll. I think it was to much pressure on him last season cause of the transfer money Liverpool paid. I think he could have a big season if given playing time up front. If Liverpool is going to do anything with Carroll they should cut his hair.

Liverpool should hold on to Carroll , he never got the service last season so its not entirely his fault he didn't score more goals , Steve G can put the ball exactly where andy wants it and andy will hit the net, seems the rest of the players can't do the same as Steve G.

Think they should keep him and give him a chance...the whole team was unsettled last year from the helm down....he could do well....thou I don't think Rogers fancies that kind of footie.....as if he is on...very tempting to just whack it up to him. Something Rogers is dead against....let's see......

Channel 5 has beaten ITV to land an all-access documentary on Liverpool Football Club.

The Richard Desmond-owned broadcaster is understood to have outbid ITV to land the six-part series, which has been given access to Liverpool players and staff .

One source suggested that C5 has paid as much as ?95,000 an hour for the Fox Soccer show, which will air in the US in the autumn.

ITV had been considered favourite to land the documentary, but it is understood it was not prepared to match C5's bid. The acquisition could be considered surprising, given that C5 has retreated from football after deciding not to renew its Europa League rights deal for next season.

Our Liverpool: Never Walk Alone went into production at the end of last season when Liverpool were preparing to face Chelsea in the FA Cup Final, and will also capture the team on their July tour of North America, during which they play Roma and Tottenham Hotspur.

The doc captures a period of change at the club, in which Kenny Dalglish stepped down as manager and Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers took the reins.

Our Liverpool is being produced by Scott Boggins, who has overseen in-depth boxing documentaries for HBO's 24/7 strand. This involved filming the intimate build-up to fights, such as Manny Pacquiao v Ricky Hatton in 2009.

Liverpool's chairman Tom Werner is no stranger to TV, having executive produced some notable US comedies, including The Cosby Show and 3rd Rock from The Sun.
