tbh I consider it a shoe-in and the statement from above post is gotta be tempting to any betting man, united to drop from 1st to 7th next season is a lump on bet,28 points between the two clubs last term and 11 points from 7th to 5th for Liverpool against spurs means united will have to finish 7th for that bet to be realised

Bets on then mate, we'll finish above united.

Does moyes have a clause in his contract requiring him to drive a shitty chevrolet tin can?

no probs m8,just empty your penny jar and tell me what it amounts to and I will gladly cover it.you will finish 6th next season cos we will end up nearer the 11th or 12th spot,i feel chelsea, united, city, arsenal, spurs then you will be the top six in that order barring any major changes fore it kicks off.as for moyes I think he will be twice as successful as Brendan Rodgers.after all two times nothing is still nothing.

              RIP Dave Hickson

Liverpool Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former player Dave Hickson at the age of 83.

The striker was one of the only men to have represented all three Merseyside clubs - the Reds, Everton and Tranmere - during the course of his career.

It was with the Blues where Hickson began his professional career, scoring 71 goals in 151 games between 1951 and 1955.

Spells at Aston Villa and Huddersfield followed before he returned to Goodison Park in 1957.

However, Hickson opted to make the move across Stanley Park in November 1959.

Nicknamed the 'Cannonball Kid', he fired 38 goals in 67 games for Liverpool during his two-year spell at the club, including a strike on his debut in a 2-1 Anfield win against Aston Villa.

He left the Reds in 1961 to join Cambridge before later representing Bury and Tranmere.

He will be sadly missed by all his former teammates and anyone who ever watched him in action.

The thoughts of everyone at Liverpool Football Club go out to his family and friends at this sad time.

              RIP Dave Hickson 1929-2013

              THE TRUTH
              The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

I see Arsenal made a bid for Suarez. I think 30 mil a little light and i think if the price is right they should sell him. No use having him if he wants to leave they should let him. I also think if Xabi Alonso wants to return to the prem ( I highly doubt it ) Liverpool should go all out for him. Ever since he left Liverpool hasn't found his replacement and it's the one position Liverpool lack in. Alonso and Lucas in the midfield would bring atleast 4th place.

30 million isn't just lite it's laughable. More like higuain ain't gonna go there so they're trying to make it look like they're active in the market knowing we'll tell them to do one. :sly:

i thought suarez wanted out of england.so why would liverpool consider selling him to another prem club.after all the support that liverpool have given him,i personally would cut his b*lls off and ship him off to iceland.( country or shop ).

Who ever put that bid in has the mental age of a child....seriously you can't do business with jokers. I think most liverpool fans acknowledge that he's going I just hope RM come in for him and deal with us in a professional conduct....thats how it usually works.
