Today's report is black and white.The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'. -

Roy Hodgson may seem to some like a 'no mark'... check out his credentials.. He's on every FIFA technical panel going, he took the Swiss, the SWISS to the last 16 of the World Cup in 94... the man knows his shizzle..
Most important to me.. He's ENGLISH.. he knows the club, its history, what makes it tick..
Granted we may not win the league this coming season but i for one think one of England's best club sides in back in the hands of an English coach.. good news and good times i think for the future

the thing is with roy hodgson no one is really expecting us to win anything, which might take a bit of pressure of him and the players so any thing we do win will be bonus, a more relaxed lfc with a relaxed manager can only be good for the future football wise that is. now we just need to get rid of the yanks and look forward to a brighter future..Last edited by maca; 1 July, 2010, 21:28.Comment

saw his press conference on sly sports today... came across as a very nice and knowledgeable bloke... and had the decency to say that he had told fulham he would not poach any of their squad.. and liked how he answered the question about lfc being bigger than inter, who he once managed..
but apparently his missus is a scouser, so he has got to be careful.................... "roys the boy"................

he is a knowledgeable bloke who is finally getting the recognition in this country he deserves after spending most of it abroad
i dont think you have much money for him to spend and you may end up selling some of your top players to balance the books but hodgson has proved he can get players in on the cheap with fulham to do a decent job
only time will tell if how good a job he will do, on a personal note though i was more than happy with rafa and would have happily had him a contract for lifeComment
