I don't think Liverpool put the fear in anyone with that performance against Sparta. Kenny just shuffled some players around to see how they play together. Champion league is where Liverpool belong not the loser cup oh i mean Eurpoa league. Don;t get me wrong he will put a strong side against Sparta in the return leg cause we can't get ousted by a team like Sparta.

why do you, and loads more call it the "losers" cup? losers finish 2nd?? yes?? so how come the champions league is not also a "losers" cup? the 2nd,3rd and 4th teams play in it!!!!
also the cup and league cup winners play in the europa league , losers??? think not...

The Europa League is a strange competition.. Unlike the Champions League where teams try to win every game the EL seems to be draw away, win your home games.. Factor in Sparta had been off for 3 months and had dropped out the CL they probably couldn't be arsed.. 0-0 away from home is a decent European result..

It's only in the quarters that this competition hots up..

we just dont value it as we were palying in the champions league regularly.

know what you mean, about the 3 months break for them... but we have a 10 week break in our summer. so come august, they are fit!!!! we aren't???? not knocking you, but those clowns on c5..... andy gray lost his way.........
