putting all banter to one side,hope the families of the supporters involved in the hilsborogh debacle get some answers to what really happened on that day, the condition of these grounds at the time was diabolical. i and my mates went to a game oldham v man u when we were in the second div (showing my age now) anyhow we were leant on crush barrier could see there was movement so we physically pushed the crush barrier over,fortunately it was about an hour before kick off three of us were caught given a slap which was normal then then taken to plods opps room and threatened with a criminal damage charge and ban from football ect,so we pointed out that we had done them and oldham ath fc a favour by highlighting safety issues.we were held in that room and released a hour after the game ended with a promise that we would be appearing before oldham magistrate to answer for our crimes needless to say i am still waiting for the summons the point is when any blame is dished out the authorities prefer to pass it down to the lowest end of the chain which is normal practise with these incidents someone needs to be brought to book for this blatant dis regard of safety and lack of organisation. on that fate full day in sheffield,easier to blame a corpse than someone in power.but dont hold your breath because the wheels of cover up will be doing overtime to to apportion blame where THEY DEEM FIT! i hope the gist of this statement is ok and the families and friends and all genuine football fans get answers and the justice they deserve.

fantastic debate in the HoC this evening.. Hopefully it should start the wheels in motion to the full inquiry and release of papers relating to SYP, The S*n and the Govt.

Unfortunately though it will take many many years for the lies of MacKenzie to be undone.. Even when categorically stated as untrue in the Taylor report people still believe it was due to late ticket-less drunken yobs who forced a gate open..

The fact that Leppings Lane held 10'100 and the HSE estimated a maximum of 10'300 turned up is always overlooked as is the fact that Duckenfield the SYP crowd controller ordered the gate to the middle pen which was already at capacity to be opened, whilst the gates to the side pens remained shut and half empty.. Once he realised his mistake he perpetuated a myth that the gate was charged open..

Thatcher ordered that "the police must take no blame".. the minutes from that meeting will be interesting, in the fact that I hope they haven't been doctored in anyway..

Justice will come for the families, but that's where it will end..

It will take many years for those whose minds are closed on the matter to see the truth.. even when it's in black and white and on 24hr news channels every 15 minutes there will always be those that say "yes.. but"

Henderson should of scored. My grandmother could of put that one away. I agree it's a big step foward but look at the ManU lineup and all we come away with is a tie? What does that say for Liverpool FC. I think Kenny could field a better line up then he did Saturday. When will he realize Adam and Downing just don't cut it. Taking out Lucas having a Yellow might be right but bringing on Henderson for what? to be a defensive replacement cause he surely wasn't a offensive replacement. Should of took off Downing for Bellamy or Lucus for Carrol.

I watched that from 8pm, V good progress and any attempt of further cover up will only bring disaster. Some moving speeches in there aswell.

Well starting with 2 dmids and maxi and aurelio on the wings v Rangers was never going to be a goalfest. Just a slow paced game and livened up when Kenny threw the big guns on, Highlighting the fact they are the better players. We could of nicked a draw but thats ok. Good workout for some players.
