i say get the lad playing regular and match fit, also he needs to be played to his strength and be a target man who can hold off challenges and hold on to the ball, its no good trying to get him to play the Liverpool way and play fast passing football, the guy wont last very long he is not that fit and that kind of player..

He is only young and he will come good, just need to be patient and as i now its not a word that you lot like as you are desperate for some overnight success, and i cant blame you.

Just look across the border at Wayne Rooney, Ferguson is playing him in an unfamiliar position so the whole team is suffering, similar happens when Carroll is playing.

Get off Carrol back. He is a player your team should be setup for. He gets no service and why is it when a player like Carrol has a height advantage teams just decide to throw anything into the box and expect them to get on the end of it. The Fulman game would of been different if Kuyt was playing instead of Henderson. But enough about the players I'm sorry but Kenny needs to go just making to many coaching mistakes. The game has passed his style of coaching behind. One mistake was the lineup he put out Monday night the second was not making a change when the game was screaming out for one in the 60th minute. I know die hard Liverpool fans don't want to see the obvious but hiring someone like Kenny Daglish is like hiring a Family member then trying to fire them when they don't work out.

I'm sorry i mean no disrespect to Kenny Dalglish but what do you do? It's a cruel world when it comes to being a manger in club football. He knows what he was getting into. You make some good points Wolfy if that was Roy there would be uproar i myself would be gunning for his head. The fact of the matter is we need to be patient getting a top 4 spot is main priority and yes we are a few points behind but its a long season i do beleive we will find our feet n form. Remember last season i see a vast amount of improvement in this side n Rome wasn't built overnight. Nights like yesterday are frustrating for everyone but there will be more great nights then bad coming soon, beleive in the team.

I would take a cup n 4th spot as an excellent season if thats wot we get, some would say we over achieved.

2 months undefeated and 7 away wins IN A ROW!

beat arsenal away, drew to mancs (a game we deserved), beat chelsea away twice, drew to city (again deserved to win)

only spurs and swansea (2nd half) have really out played us this season so far....

we have pretty much battered and out classed all our opponents this season and played some of the best football for over a decade.

EXACTLY ONE YEAR AGO.......

we lost at home to blackpool and wolves and were totally OUTCLASSED by both teams. we looked lost, void of confidence and in real trouble. newcaslte battered us 3-0 and again we looked so poor that finsihing in the top half looked a dream and some even muttered relegation at that time.

fcukin 12 months later and we are playing great football, dominating possession and controlling games from start to finish.

i also make it 10 new signings in 12 months! thats a bloody whole new team.

but wait.....lets look closer......

reina, johnson, agger, skrtel, lucas, maxi, dirk ......do these names sound familiar?

its basically the same fcukin team.....the same team that got roy and rafa the sack!!!!!!
