I don't know what match you were watching Wolfy, cos the match I watched Suarez was a country mile ahead of anyone, Neil Warnock said Suarez was brilliant, KD said he was amazing, Brad Orr (QPR defender) said Suarez was unplayable.

It's all about squad rotation and keeping players fit for the whole season. Maxi played well but scored just as many as Adam/Henderson/Downing/Kuyt...none.

I believe KD will buy a striker in Jan cos we are playing some of the best football in the EPL but just cant get it between the sticks and when we do get it on target, some keeper makes an unbelieve save/saves.

Give the new players a break, lets see if they come good and for me...that includes Carroll (as I said he is a tube but hope he proves me wrong)

You are right Suarez was great. I don't think another striker will due. I can live with Adam but Henderson and Downing don't cut it. Downing needs to work the fish and chips truck outside Anfield instead of playing football.

What are you talking about Kuyt was the bset player out their. When he receives the ball he atleast know what to do unlike Downing and Henderson. Everytime the ball is passed to them it's 1 sec and they pass the ball away like they are afraid of it. I'll say Downing made one good run and one decent cross other than that he is sh*t. If you think replacing Kuyt is the answer then you think 7th place is a good spot.

you do know:

1) football isn't about running.. Kuyt was terrible on Saturday, his off the ball running was dreadful, his touch was, his passing was worse he gave the ball away 7 times before it went to a red shirt, he then fired a clear cut shot down the keepers throat, panic shooting that was..

2) pass and move, one touch football is what we need

Kuyt was signed as a 40 goal a season striker from Holland.. He's no where near that, so much so he was thrown out on the wing to see if he could do something..

Obviously Fox Sports has a shite camera angle if you think he played well..

Kuyts a good player but its high time we replaced him with someone better, he'll always be a good impact player as hes a workhorse but his pass and move ability is somewhat limited !

ok downing i understand, we payed 20 odd million but we always knew what we were getting with him.

he is a hit and miss player, who will "sometimes" produce a great cross, run, assist and the odd goal. but he does have pace and power and he is tactically sound....i think positioning and timing of his runs are a big part of his game.

i cant understand why you dont like henderson the kid has done great, he has hunger and drive and can pass a ball.

he helps with the free flowing football we are trying to reate and for a 21 year old he is doing great. he will be a huge player for liverpool and has 10 times the ability of dirk kuyt but all the same running and work rate.

dirk is shite and kenny knows how bad technically he is......thats why he gets dropped alot now.

you cant play pass and move possesion football with players like dirk, as his first touch is so crap it just upsets the balance, and it is actually a liability when other players make runs based on the ability of the player on the ball.......we all know dirks ability on the ball is shocking.

have a word with yourself about "i can live with adam" he is a great player and the main reason we arent missing gerrard so much right now......he can pass a ball!

3 goals and 7 assist already?.......he is doing fine and will only get better

You Brits can have your opinion like i can have mine. I can't see this team getting a 4th place spot unless Gerrard puts his superman cape on when he plays. OPSMONKEY how long did you take watching the replay of the game to come up with the Kuyt stats? I'm sure half of those giveaways were cause if you watch the game on a color tv you would see other players passing the ball to him when he is surrounded by 2 to 3 players in the box. I'll agree Kuyt is getting up their in age and was never really a pacey player but he still has better skill than Henderson. Adam makes to many hail mary passes and shoots when he should pass. Downing just plains sucks. We could go on and on about who does what and who did this. The bottom line is I'm sure everyone here wants Liverpool to get in the top 4. I want to hear from eveyone what does Liverpool need to get a 4th place spot. 1 do nothing Kenny has all the right pieces. 2 Go to the transfer window and pick up a player or two. I'm sure you know which way i'm leaning. All i know if Kenny keeps picking Downing and Henderson 7th place here we come.

adam "trys" things which is what wins matches....or did you want more players who pass it backwards and sideways?

we are playing the best football we have for a decade and creating chances at will. our defense looks solid and only spurs have out played us this season....

I understand what your saying but without a CL spot it's hard to get world class players to come and play on your team. Sometimes playing for a club like Liverpool FC just isn't enough for some players. I still believe we can get 4th i just feel we should be already their.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Liverpool is playing it's best football in 10 years. You can think what you want but until Downing and Henderson become bench warmers Liverpool will be a mid table club. The way you describe the team they could win the CL title right now. If Kenny brings another round of losers in the transfer window this January Liverpool will struggle to get a 4th place finnish. And by the way who appointed you the almighty Liverpool fan. ~~~~ Off Jerky.

Yesterday game was a step in the right direction except for the you know who. But you have to remember Villa was down two of there best players and they played like sh*t but again Liverpool won and even with the two players in the lineup they still should always win against a team like Villa.
