i think you will find that he could get away with it then,but i'm afraid times have moved on. as demonstrated by louise suarez and lfc's punishment for using similar vocabulary.after all you could argue that the city of liverpool prospered in the past by it's trade in slavery. times move on.

Losing to the best side in the league is not the problem and I half expected us to be thumped by City. The problem is drawing our home games to the lower teams which will cost us in the end. Also think Kenny will have to put his hands up at the end of the season and admit he got it wrong with Andy Carroll. Carroll's one dimensional and thats in the air Liverpool need a poacher.

Wolfy, I must say Downing gave ~~~~ all last night, Crosses were poor, all he wanted was a crack at goal. He aint cutting the mustard..

Carroll was non existent aswell....

Just not pulling their weight, Kuyt looks like his times up aswell.

Ahh well, Off ticket office to see if theres any stubs left for Oldham.

downing is really starting to annoy me, i get that he can run 30-40 metres at speed with the ball....

but then he just fcukin stops and turns back or comes inside....AND DOESNT BLOODY CROSS IT!

at 20 million, 28 years old, i just dont get this signing. he has never done anything of any note and he cant beat players by dribbling......he is as limited now as he has ever been and will always be.

i thought we did alright last night, pepe made a howler, a corner and a penalty.....what else did city really do?

a fit gerrard and suarez, with one more top class player....

with lucas, henderson, adam, spearing (and maybe one more) in behind them and i think we have a good team there. defence is alright, yesterday was just a bad day at the office for us.

we werent out played, just out scored.

still think we are heading in the right direction, mancini changed his tacics yesterday and with all city's big money players (supposed world class players) thats a big testiment to how liverpool are playing right now.

we will get this right....

tommy smith is a known racist......for that fact i dont like the man, and turn off the tv everytime i see his face on lfc tv

but in his time it was more accepted and expected. in fact in those days you were probably laughed at for liking coloured people. even in the early 90's and in my school years it happened alot.

gladly times have moved on a little and its a subject that doesnt really deserve much discussion......as thats what racists want!

I have to say the line up Kenny put out was just too defensive. Gerrard should of started even if they only got 60min out of him it was better than bringing him on 2 down. Can any of the three turkeys make a cross? Carroll got maybe one good cross all night how do you fault him if no one can get him the ball. Kuyt just isn't match fit from lack of playing plus it was really sh*tty out there. Henderson looked lost again. I am going to church to light a candle and pray Liverpool don't sign Bent. He is the last player Liverpool need. Nice to see you guys come around and notice the three turkeys suck.

someone "in the know" has said we are talking with fc twente about luuk de jong. id never heard of him, but even his youtube highlights dont inspire me.....he looks alright.

but sadly we have enquired about bent......just hope that one dies.

i wont agree with you about henderson, i like him, and at 21 he will get better.

downing is crap, limited, and not a big game player.

carroll has been crap, looks shot of confidence, but will atleast get the next 7 games to prove people wrong......

was it only me that thought we played worse when gerrard came on the pitch yesterday?

our rythum and passing stopped and we lost shape.

i think thats cus he was playing in the centre when i think he should be playing further forward.

when he plays against top class players, like last night, you can see how far he is from being properly fit......he needs time yet, maybe even a few months, especially to perform against the top teams anyway
