"because you are black" is a statement of fact. It's not a racist comment and that's why the fans back him.

The difference lies in your quote. no one said the words "black bastard", if Suarez would have said that, he wouldn't have had the backing of the fans. He didn't say it he said "because you are black" Do you see it now? Evra is black how was it racist?

The world is about opinions m8. Take Suarez and put him in a Manc shirt and put a Liverbird (God forbid)on Evra and what do you think the outcome would be?

Then judging by your sig your opinion of Suarez might not be so forgiving He made a faux pas and admitted so should have immediately apologized and moved on, instead of the media circus that has ensued.
This is football and not real life so the players have a responsibilty as do the clubs to project a certain image.

Very sad this happening to a club like Liverpool and they deserve more than this, I just cant help but think their contribution fuelled the fire.

BD I think your being a bit harsh on Tom Adeyemi, the lads a youngster, and he was probably playing on the biggest stage in his career and maybe he was full of nerves,
yes he complained to the ref, but which footballer doesn't have a whinge during a match, he didn't go crying to his manager after the game like a certain other player,
nor did he want it reporting to the FA or the police, if he was putting it on, he could have gone a hell of a lot further, he's made no statements to the press or gone on twitter shouting his mouth off,
to me he genuinely looked upset, and it cant be a manc thing either as he's from Norwich.
