It's not just as simple as a club spending beyond it's means...Rangers have cheated their way to many a title by not paying tax totallying to who knows how much, the figure goes up every day!
You have to bare in mind that they won many a title at Celtic's expence due to this and you have to bare in mind that the chairman who has got them into this mess once famously said "If Celtic spend a fiver, we'll spend a tenner." Rangers fans, the media and their board mocked "the biscuit tin mentality" at Parkhead for years - whilst they were cheating. My feelings exactly mate. I remember all too well the goading from that lot in 1994. We were called beggars, they sang "keep the board" during our sack the board campaign and during a 4-2 new year defeat at Celtic Park. They revelled in our financial plight and all the while their success was built on tax evasion/fraud. Where were all the Rangers need a strong Celtic brigade then?
They wanted us gone then just as i want the same for them now for my reasons stated above. Im with Lenny and Lawell on this one, we do not need them!
