It will be the end of a few good teams once this circus has played out. Without the financial clout of a few Old Firm games with decent players being sponsored by big bucks companies everyone will suffer.
Even Celtic who are in debt to the banks but posted a modest profit will suffer once the sponsors pull out and with dwindling attendances there will be even less money to pay the banks and overpayed players. Give it a couple of years and most Scottish teams will only be able to afford home grown or second rate foreign players.
Once this happens you can forget getting past the first round in any European games and even less money wil come in.
