Ive read it through a couple of times some areas maybe more and he is either evading the real issue and that being that a man using racial terms towards another whilst in heated debate is not allowed or he is simply an ignorant bigot, i will choose to believe he is simply a bigot (as that at least leaves him open to education) and does not really see that using those kinds of derogatory terms to describe another man is simply socially unnaceptable.
It was admitted by Suarez himself and the terms of conversation are clearly unfreindly so there really is no case of probability it's simply straw clutching of the most pathetic kind.
He goes onto say that one "shit for brains bloke racially abuses a player" then suddenly its the whole club or section of the kop that is guilty. He then goes onto mention "one neanderthal" making a monkey gesture clearly forgetting that one plus one equal what is now two incidents from fans.
So where does this actually end ? It should have ended with the club in the first instance with Suarez being disciplined and taught that this type of behaviour is simply incorrect in our culture. If indeed he was ignorant of what you can and cant say after 10 years living outside of South America. Instead we had laughable T-shirts and claims of corruption towards the FA and so the saga began.
Now it was said at the time by many that this would seep down into the stands and the club have opened the door to exactly the kind of neanderthal behaviour we are seeing. This was not an occurence i remember regulary from LFC but now that position has seemingly shifted towards and that is sad for the majority of supporters who are decent enough to not behave in this manner. Do I believe that LFC are racist then no I certainly do not and do i believe all the fans should see the gallows because of a couple of morons then no, I actually feel sorry for the majority because it is those who are left to defend and sweep up afterwards. It was simply handled terribly at the time and it is now impossible to backtrack.
It does now need putting to bed but the media now has a rag to shake and there may be more twists before they finally stop hounding and who is to blame for all of this ? Well in the first instance it is Suarez for responding in a racial manner to Evra mentioning his non existant sisters privates (if this so happened) and then ultimately the club and its own attitude towards racist claims.
This is not only my views and not plaguerized from some United fanatics pathetic bloggs it is simply the law on racist derogatory terms in 2012.

Who is on their high horse here ? Did I bring class into this thread ? I merely stated that it might not be a wise move considering the "current" climate.
Again I think a loss in translation and perhaps a little hypocrisy, was it not stated in your TTT link that Suarez used those terms in a fashion deemed acceptable in his own country and if so then it becomes a question of context does it not.

Context

The Park song could be deemed offensive if the context was not jovial and meant in a freindly fashion.
Aiming the word "negro" can also be taken in freindly fashion or as Suarez claims it was meant as a descriptive for his colour.
Aiming the word negro whilst in embroiled in an on the field spat, the context here makes it what is ! Racist.

I did not defend the Dane in that case I can remember it well and saying if he did say it then he is a dick head. However this was never proved or admitted by the Dane. Harry Gregg testimonial

Manchester United have agreed to send a team to play against an Irish League XI for Harry Gregg's testimonial in May.

Gregg survived the Munich Air Disaster in 1958 and won widespread praise for his bravery after staying with the burning plane to help passengers to safety.

Survivor: Munich survivor Harry Gregg will be honoured with a testimonial

Now 79, the former Northern Ireland international had a 10-year stint with the Red Devils, making 247 appearances.

A ?23,000 arrival from Doncaster in 1957, his only honour was an FA Cup runners-up medal in the emotional defeat to Bolton in 1958, just after the tragedy. Gregg missed the win over Leicester five years later due to injury.
