Strange, i wrote a post saying same thing

Have to say i was very impressed with his attitude and he played well, it was a throwback to when he arrived

Whether the new motivation is for us or for himself is irrelevant, if he continues like to play with that passion thats been missing these last few years then he will win people including me around

Either way if he wants to stay or leave he needs to perform now and i think he realizes it, a rooney rotting in reserves will not be as sought after as a rooney at his best

So whether he is playing for us and a last big pay deal, or playing to impress new employers to part with a mega money deal for him, it can only be good for us

Either way he needs to impress

yes it was a very good display because it was a big game a early time of the season both teams didnt want to lose the game and the were showing each other alot of respect and this is why they canceled each other out but i didnt think it was a boring 0-0 draw far from it i agree what Andy said were looked solid which was nice two see to sum it up on the night both defences came out on top .

Solid display. Never looked like losing but just needed some magic in the last third. Chelsea came for a point, which I guess is logical given its a tough fixture, very happy though to take a point and get things under way for Moyes at OT.

Rooney was probably our best player last night.

as always this time of the year you get rumours of players being linked with clubs wanted to leave or join other clubs Eto & Rooney are no different i for one will be glad when the Rooney saga is put to bed as over the years i have seen many man u players come and go better than Rooney as i have beena man u fan for over 39 years , and if he dont want to play for the club get rid i know he is a really good player and i will miss him . as bringing in new players i think we need to strengthen more so for the champions league this season than the prem league i would like to see a midfielder , and another striker if Rooney does go it would have been nice if Ronald o did come back imagine him and van persie wow .

"It's something we've been talking about it since I took the job on 1 July. I have an idea of where I'd like to strengthen but we won't do it because people tell us we should be signing players.
"If the right players are available, great. But if not, the first thing we'll do is encourage our own young players in the squad to do as well as they did last year."
Moyes reiterated United's stance that Wayne Rooney will not be sold to Chelsea despite Jose Mourinho suggesting he will make a third bid for the England striker after Monday's match.

We better be bringing someone in, I hope he's not going to come out and say, "my first season with this team I would like to see what I can do with this team and then add to it next season, if we need to"
I think there is a little bit of a message in it, like we wont be held to ransom if we can get em for a fair price then we will stick with what we have. May be a ploy to certain clubs that they are not desperate

but i also think that there is no point buying players you dont need, we are champions and we will be up there, i am frustrated tbh its nice to see some new faces but if we get nobody then we have to deal with it.

we do have Zaha as a new signing.

Lets hope we get 1 or 2 more Mata and Fellaini be nice
