Time to move onMoyes doubts Fabregas capture | Premiership Talk
The papers in Spain are saying Cesc is having a press meeting in the morning to say he is staying at his club.
Fellaini is looking a shoe in, Kondogbia may be worth a punt he seems cheap and is only 20, I think kagawa can play a similar game to fabregas
Not sure whats happening with Rooney now, i think he may be forced to stay if we get nobody to take the scholes role as he can drop and do a job if needed. As a club we never seem to rush signings and whilst we get a little pi55ed about it, we usually seem to find we didnt need them and continue as normal
I think Zaha will do ok although i think he will be a bit hit and miss
Dont want any panic buys last minuteLeave a comment:

Be nice cant see it tho
Probably right about Bale though being back end of window, levy likes to make people wait and holds his nerve till last minute to get top whack
cant see it being over 80 million though, thats been spoke about maybe 60 ish
Tbh tho its silly money but if he plays shit hot for 8 seasons its a bargain, but you are only one dodgy tackle away from a total wasteLeave a comment:

this fabregas stuff is prob just a smoke screen, moyesy will probly pull a mad one like Bale out the hat at rear end of window

Been a problem area for us midfield
Only really Carrick been a decent buy since Roy Keane in the 90's
20 years and only Carrick a decent signing
Dont get me wrong there has been a few inbetween Kleberson, Veron and Anderson but only Carrick could be described as a hit
Owen hargeaves would have been a hit but he couldnt walk
Btw i would be happy with Fellaini but i would of liked Fabregas too, a sitter and a creator would probably have worked well
But whatever happens i dont think its the end of the world
I think Kagawa will be better this season and i think he has the nous to play as a creative roll either in the middle or up top, a signing like Fellaini would give him a bit of freedom, he is a clever link up player with good quick feet and brain. I think he would flourish with regular games
We also have IMO a very good young lad coming through i mentioned him before Januzaj who i expect to make an impact this season, we already have Zaha in the squad
TBH i would love a few signings Bale and Fabregas would be great but it certainly wont be the end of the world if we do get Fellaini, as he would make our squad stronger than last season
And i think we finished 1stLeave a comment:

Barcelonas new manager has made a statement " Cesc Fabregas is not for sale and any Man Utd Bids will rejected.."
Also their director has more or less said the same..
looks like we are left behind again in the transfer market, and looking at the last 4 pre season friendly games we look sh1t.
I just knew it, we will panic buy and get left with fellaini in midfield, again we will suffer without a world class playmaker in midfield..Leave a comment:

Just thinking didnt we use Phil Jones release clause
Seem to remember Blackburn not being very happy because they wanted 20m and we gave 16M
Somebody magically told us he was available for 16m and blackburn couldnt do a thingLeave a comment:

Only way that would work cheaper is if everton actually want shot or need the money
The idea of the release clause is that if a player decides that things are not going well or wants out the fee can be triggered by the player and the clause
If no release clause or an over the top release clause then its then up to the club whether a player goes or stays and at what price
some foreign players have massive over the top buyouts in their contract, this is inserted by clubs too scare away potential bidders
Fellainis is a reasonable request, that if everton dont make champions league he can leave for a champions league club for a fee where Everton wont hold him to ransom or scupper a move by being too greedy
Thiagos was similar if i dont play X amount i can go for a reasonable fee, If Barca had of dictated the buyout clause it would have been something daft like 80 million
Demba Ba had a cheap one, basically if he didnt like it at newcastle he could go where he chose if anyone paid 7MLeave a comment:

Oh, I thought it meant, you could go in for him at a lower price when it runs out, thats my theory out the window

August expiry for fellaini i read somewhereIve read Fellaini has a expiry date for his clause to end very soon, I wonder if Moyes is sat waiting for that to end and get him cheaper. I hope it is not just Fellaini we get this summer.
Cesc news, I'm hoping its to do with there new manager comimg in which has slowed everything down while he gets his feet under the table.
Dont see how that would make him cheaper tho
All that means is everton dont have to sell when it runs out, a release clause means everton have no choice in the matterLeave a comment:

Strange for Moyes to be very public in his pursuit of fabregas
Dont think its going to happen but i am unsure as to why Moyes seems confident, do Barca secretly want to sell?? are we being told privately to up the offer??
Something not quite right, it may be a ploy on fabregas's part. Maybe his agent is playing the situation for a new improved contract or some kind of gain
If Barca were simply saying NO not at any price why are we persisting, as we are wasting time when we could be looking elsewhere. Must be something in it somewhere for someoneLeave a comment:
