I want an old firm free SPL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what u want & what u get r 2 different things & in manchester 200,000 fans less than a 100 arrests lets not get carried away..

We are going off the subject here guys..

McMav - Didn't mention any shouting, singing or chanting but if you want I can...F**k the Pope during your silence & every other song you sing is about the other 'F' word and lets chuck a few Nazi salutes in as well. You aint got no moral high ground on that score - ask Uefa..

Cgscott - No excuses for you guys winning the league mate. Even if all the very dubious decisions like the Motherwell one, the last min pen against Hearts and the not given pens in the first old firm game wouldn't have gone in your way, I reckon you would still win the league at present.

Smith knows how to win in Scotland and you play a system that works in Scotland. Defences win leagues, playing nice football rarely does, Arsenal know all about that. If you were 4-2 up at Aberdeen with 15 to go would you draw the game?? - No. You've also got players that rangers mean something to and will fight - Mowbray has got rid of all ours in favour of supposedly better footballers. It's like Paul Le Revolution in reverse..

can tell u right now that was durin the minutes silence mate
not sayin it didnt get shouted while the match was being played. but RANGERS decided on a minutes silence instead of a minutes applause, and it was a RANGERS fan that broke that silence!

as said in a previous comments, both teams fans are as bad as each other, only difference is...when celtic fans go abroad, there's rarely any trouble...we go for the enjoyment and to have a drink with the other teams fans eg Barca, Sevilla

Aye 100,000 to Seville = 0 arrest. To gloat about having 'only' 100 arrest during a riot is a strange one that I don't get...

                100,000 fans.

                Your deluded.

That figure goes up every year, and you did have one arrest.

                  More lies.

                  Celtic fans disrupted the silence.

Celtic had to invent a minutes applause so the fans wouldn't disgrace themselves again.

Celtic fans chucked out of ibrox for doing plane signs when Edu came on.

You've gone way off track there.

No need for that at all, thought this was a friendly sort of forum?

There wasn't one arrest in Seville on the day of the game and official estimates by Police, local Gov in Seville etc are between 85,000 - 110,000.

Anyway look at your own. Celtic fans have not been charged and fined with Racist chanting by Uefa and what else was the last few 'campaigns'...Villareal team coach attacked - fighting in Benedorm at the time of the game, Fighting & Racist chants in Barca, Racist chants elsewhere, fighting in Una-whats it! and the wee bit of trouble in Manchester..

Your supporters club coaches when travelling to Europe have been shown dvd's asking you to behave, due to the risk of you getting chucked out Europe. Your chief exec has pleaded with you to behave in Europe. And then of course there's the Nazi salutes...Classy.

, this thread got me laughin, dont usually step into football conversations on cable sites for various reasons,
but nah cant ignore this one,
the silence was broken with a celtic fan, ( and then a daft rangers fan shouted at him to shut up and then more rangers fans shouted at him to shut up ),,
im guessing the celtic guy was 'outside the ground' ,, LOL
the paranoia of some 'tik fans this season are unreal.
someone was close suggesting this is celtics 'le guen' term, to the exception of the fact you actually have spent some serious cash to be ehh pish.
when your 100,000,000 or 200,000,000 fans were at Seville( sorry just making predictions for how many were there by time this thread finished ),, did there council bang more than half of you into a square with 2 big screens then just decide once your all pissed that they werent gona show the game afterall, and blame some tech problem, ( when the TV had been on all night with adverts! )? do you think then perhaps mabie one lowlife would have been lifted?
                      bollox.
paranoia rippin everywhere even from Billy McNeil.
Celtic fans,, worldwide,, OFFENDED BY ALL,, EMBARRASED BY NOTHING

Embarresed at the way they have played this season and can only point the finger in at other people.

Dont get me wrong super keano has been great since he went to celtic on loan.
But that was up against mediocre defense

Reading the comments above, tells you everything.Ignorance is bliss, especially when you read of Rangers fans preaching the moral high ground, yet their history is tarred with not signing a player of a certain religious background for more than 100 years. Now,back to the topic of how to deal with the obvious partiality of the Football Association towards Rangers. The players are conditioned from when they enter onto the pitch in a derby as Celtic players know that they will be sent off with any sort of reckless or foolish tackle while a Rangers players knows he will only be given a yellow card at most. Its this pscholoical advantage which affects the result of the match. As Bougherra should have been sent off in the first half for repetitive fouling allowing Celtic a massive advantage in the second half. The psychology of the Celtic players is compromised due to the manner of the refereeing

Yes,though I reckon your club was founded before the 1980s!!!Please do your own calculation from the year your club was founded until they signed a Roman Catholic. Then please have the dignity to apologise as your club has still to do to generations of Catholics living in Scotland!!!!

                                ahahaha you kidden me on???

check even on yer rangers forum mate there's even a few "mature" supporters saying quote:"they should have waited after the minutes silence before boo'n eh c**t that shouted "F**K the pope!" n he should have waited after eh minutes silence to shout stuff"

so dunno wot game u where watchin bud

n also...the reason for a minutes applause is to stop ppl ruining it, n to try pull a stunt like that at an old firm game is a joke! tho fair play to the fans that honoured it!

end of the day, celtic have been shit this season, rangers didnt win the league last year, celtic lost it!
both teams would prob get slaughtered week in, week out in england in thier current state. it's only a matter of time before hibs/dundee utd/hearts etc catch up with "our" standards n to be honest, 5-6 years ago, i reckon most teams feared goin to parkhead/ibrox, but teams now know it's more than possible to get a result away from home against us.

bottom line.....we're both sh!te n anyone who tries to deny thats in denial
