Rangers unfortunately for celtic supporters are just the better team so live with it and stop looking to blame other people because your own team arent good enough

        That old chestnut?

No Celtic fan will deny the fact that rangers have been the better team this season, it wouldn't be hard would it? It's just typical of people in Scotland to use the old 'get your own house in order' adge, get it swept under the carpet - why change the habit of a lifetime?

There's no way we'd have been allowed to win the league this year, even if we WERE good enough, as it would have put the 'establishment' club down the tubes.

Where were these Rangers supporters in the high positions a couple of years ago when we needed favours to help prepare for the uefa cup final? What utter BS that there is a conspiracy against Celtic. Yes this season Rangers have been lucky with a good few decisions, and about time too, we didn't get them last season, or the season before that, or the season before that, in fact, I believe Celtic saw the benefit then.

With regards to Rangers history, what about Celtics, were they not started to help ONLY Irish Catholic Immigrants in Glasgow, I suppose that isn't bigotted in any way!!!!! I had to laugh when I read in a local rag about people opposing a Muslim primary school. A lot of those people were representing the local Catholic schools!!!!

And the Nazi salutes, now do not misunderstand me, I am NOT condoning salutes of any kind but I believe those are red hand salutes, performed by inbred eejits but slightly less offensive than nazi salutes!!! (starting to clutch at straws defending my team!!!!!!!)

Mate do you not remember Rangers going to the SPL that season and asking not to play 'Real' Gretna away, so that you could prepare to play Lyon in the Champs league at home? This wish was granted by the SPL & you had 10 days to prepare for that game - which you lost 0-3! The same week Celtic went to Hibs on the Sunday and played Champs league on the Tues away - Celtic didn't ask for 'time to prepare'. At the end of the season it caught up on Rangers and it was no ones fault other than Rangers. The SPL even put back the end of the season to Thurs night to give Rangers time to recover from the uefa cup final in hot a steamy Manchester. This didn't happen when Celtic were in the final in 2003.

Also a note on Celtic's history.. It was formed to help feed the impoverished in the east end of Glasgow - many of which were Irish immigrants, but not solely. Celtic has never had an anti 'any religion' policy which Rangers has had for the most of there history.

the very first celtic match ever was against rangers. It was a charity match organized bye brother Wilfred to raise funds for the irish community living in the east end of Glasgow. Who were living in poor housing conditions and many were struggling to find jobs. The priest asked for any decent footballers to help out with a charity match. He got mainly irish and catholics who responded, some of them already played for other football teams but wanted to help with the charity match to raise funds. ( think of it as an early sport relief)

I think the moral of this story is... If you work together you can achieve a lot. There is a lot of rivalry between fans now but when celtic were formed it was all about team work and co-operation and charity.

a team was formed for the charity match and they called it celtic. the celtic team had no strips to play in and the were provided buy Rangers. the match was a good success and helped the local community and also led to the permanent formation of the celtic football club.

Just to add a bit of balance and dispel this media peddled myth of Celtic Good Guys - Rangers Bad Guys take a wee look at the below link which covers a multitude of "events that never happened" throughout the years.

There are arseholes of both sides, stop peddling the pish that it is all one sided.

                          If You Know Their History

For those not in the know the guy in the picture at the top of the page in the link with the "Ha Ha 66" printed on his Celtic jersey relates to those Rangers supporters who died in the Ibrox Disaster on the 2nd January 1971.

You choose yourself, lovable Irish Rogues or Anti British? How do you explain waving Argentina flags and jerseys at a Falklands War Veteran?

Bottom line is if they wont stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

Mattyboy, If you knew your history you will find that the Irish Potatoe famine affected all creeds, colours and religions. It wasn't as you would lot would have some believe exclusive to Irish catholics.

BTW, the song (which I strongly disagree with) you refer to simply makes the statement "if you don't like it here, why don't you go home?"

What a sweeping statement to make from someone whose club is 140 years old of which the first 110 years are steeped in the bigoted condition of never signing a Roman Catholic player(the first one was signed by Souness in the mid 1980s,to the absolute annoyance of their hard core support. They also have a tradition of booing every black player who has played for them.Smallmindedness is what your club was built on and the sooner you venture out of your Larkhallesque ghetto the better
