For me, I understand that all the rebuttals they give make no sense, they are just words to contradict other words.
I became convinced that the earth is flat,
especially since I saw the nasa green screens,
with its giant swimming pool in which the iss is located,
since I saw bubbles in space with astronauts,
since I saw the first astronauts put on a bad face when they returned from the trip to the moon,
since the boats which disappeared behind the horizon of the curvature of the earth, reappeared thanks to a telescope,
I stop here the list is too long...

I won't bore you with all the details since you can all read, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this - unless you're all in a conspiracy to fool everyone into think your can read when you can't of course. A: Since sustained spaceflight is not possible, satellites cannot orbit the Earth. The signals we supposedly receive from them are either broadcast from towers or any number of possible pseudolites. However, temporary space-flight is possible.
If that's the case, and I get caught hacking satellite TV (as if anyone would ever do that), can I claim that since teh Earth is not flat and has no satellites then I cannot possibly be guilty of such an offence????

It's understandable that cognitive dissonance gets too strong when you don't want to examine the evidence of an inescapable reality.
it's so much easier to keep dreaming of going into space, but it's only a childhood dream and it will remain so for all of us.
Alas, the indoctrination of space began for us from the TV screen, then at school, then again in science fiction films.
