im trying to use redsnow to break ios5 but keep getting a microsoft error redsnow needs to close as its entering the second stage,,anyone know a way round this ? ive already used the same for another iphone with no problems at all,,do i need an updated redsnow file ?

I had this happen, think it's to do with the phone already in dfu or similar, think I got round it by unpluging the phone and only pluging it back in after tha software would have crashed

im having the same problem trying to jailbreak my mrs new iphone 4, redsnow keeps crashing and i get a microsoft error report
the phone is on version (9a405) 5.0.1 ,,,ive tried 5 times and redsnow just seems very slow compared to when i done my phone
anyone got any ideas whats wrong please

l restored a m8s 3gs today to 5.0.1 and couldnt jailbreak it , just black screened , jailbreaked loads and this wouldnt have it ? strange that l wonder if they have change the ipsw ? do u use theres or custom ?

i have just opened redsnow plugged the new phone in and then tried to jailbreak,,,am i doing something wrong here ?

my ip4 crashed yesterday after ~~~~ing about with siri and restored with save ipsw and jailbroke straight-away , but this 3gs l did at work and didnt have the ipsw there and updated with itunes .. u should be ok if its on the phone and u havnt updated in itunes ? redsnow is no easy u shouldnt have a problem really ? wots happenin m8

this phone is only a week or so old iphone 4 5.0.1 9a405
for some reason it wont break using redsnow,im gonna try once more now,will report back in a minute
