1.23 or whatever is for cloned r4 cards,still on 1.18 for original r4 or an unofficial 1.19 on gba.temp. you can tell original from copy by the front of cart there is a bump/ridge(ie. not smooth) on a copy.....blah blah.... micky

yeh you must have a clone,unless there is a problem with the files.no harm in trying or just go to gba.temp and get the original firmwares...m

i just bought the r4 card, i will try the firmware update and i hope it will works. I'm not so familiar with this kind of stuff

1.19 isn't the official firmware anyway.

depends whether you have a cloned/original r4 .original r4 work of 1.18 firmware.cloned is 1.22? etc... some games dont work because you need to patch them with arm7.bin file...micky
