Newbie here. I have just received a R4 SDHC upgrade card and a micro 2gb. Have formatted according to R4i.co.uk. same instructions as per R4i SDHC upgrade which so far has prompted start instruction on DSi but when R4 put in DS Lite it says no card inserted. Not sure if its a mistake.

Also stumped as to where to find downloads

Hiya, I'm presuming that this update is unofficial to be used on the R4 cards after 1.18? If not then has there been one since 1.18's official release?

1.23 DOES NOT WORK in r4 ds original. I think its for sdhc.

I have seen a few posts asking how you can tell an original R4 from a clone - but no replysthere must be loads of us wiythg R4 cards all struggling as too which firmware is needed - it would be nice if someone could give us all a heads up on what and where the software needed is located etcthanks in advance

HI ive got a NDS Lite and ive been trying to get my R$ card to work on it the card says that its Compatable with the DS,NDSI and the NDAL my pal done the card for me and it plays all the games on a DS but not the Light,is there any tutirols on how to do this from scratch

Hi all! i have an old r4 card, and i upgraded it withan download from the original r4 site, which worked for five minutes, then i got an error message.....
so i will format it and i hope it workes with one of the downloads i find here....

Genuine R4 cards are no longer updated!! although some fake R4 cards are still updated.

do you know if this firmware runs avatar? I also seem to be having probs with sonic sega racing, and bowsers story.. can anyone shed any light on this.. I have not downloded any games for a while, I d/l a few the other night and the three mentioned above wont run.

bowsers story starts and hangs at the select a save game screen ?

any help would be appreciated
