Help - R4 Stuck on Loading

I know this is pretty old but im also having the "cheat" problem. I put the file into _rpg/cheat but when i go on woods to find it its not there! Any help?

I downloaded the wood firmware onto my r4 card but it just came up saying "menu?" with a sad sd card icon. Any one know why??

Btw, I'm using the R4 Upgrade Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)
I've been told that it is a clone though :/

I am not which r4 card do you have. But usually, if there is no firmware update problem, the flashcard must be broken. you can try below method for try. If still can't solve, you can only contact the reseller for exchange.

Maybe you downloaded wrong R4 kernel or didn't save kernel into root of microSD card.

I am having the same problem, i have a R4 with SDHC capabilities, its a limited edition Christmas version. Got it as a present came with a 2GB mini sd card, worked perfectly before but now i wanna play pokemon volt white, it wont load it at all. Ive put the latest woods onto it, with the rpg and the menu files with an old game (scribblenauts) but it just wont get past the loading screen. HELP!!

if it is an r4 sdhc then woods firmware wont run on it.

r4 sdhc are later clones of original r4 card.

is there a web address on the card?
do you have working firmware on it? and if so, where did you get it?

Im not sure what firmware i was running on it. its backed up to my portable hard drive at home so i dont have access to it. What woods would run on it?

Ive just formatted it, and now the original menu files and -system- stuff doesnt work?

would r4 v1.18 work?

woods won't work on it at all...

you might get summit from retrogamfan do run on it, but you will need your original firmware for that

do you know were i might be able to get the original firmware, and the ability to still play pokemon black/white?

i think i have found the original firmware, it is 1.17B.

how can i make this run later games? or is it impossible

google retrogamefan, it has unofficial support support for alot of these old clone cards.

there will be a text document included in the download,
this will list cards that work with it and the methods used......

what you want to look for is a an r4 card with samne web address as your card...

then just follow the instructions..
