Hi. I have a r4 king. I got it from a market near my house. It is the R4i 1.41 revolution for DS (DsiLL/NDSI/NDSL/NDS). the cover has that and says the website R4King 3DS

I cannot load the games pokemon black and white 2. They come up with errcode=-4

thats because the card is an obscure clone,

no firmware updates for over a year....

that means the AP measures on newer games like the one mentioned prevent the game working on that card.

        Hello,
I recently bought a R4i Dual Core card (with "new" mark) from R4 cards - Nintendo ds r4 - R4i sdhc Official website. Stuck on loading in my n3ds after copying latest wood kernel from the official site. Actually, it never worked but say Loading with any kernel version.
I use 8 gb SDHC micro SD but tried also with 2gb normal.
        Any suggestions?
        Thanks in advance.

The 3DS is on Ver 1.0.0-0E, out of the box, unupdated.

As for the card, I don't know, it never worked so I can't tell. Should be latest (V 1.50), I think, since I bought it a week ago as new. It looks like this - quite different from the manufacturer's site picture.
            Thank you

Hi, again. Finally, its ok. The card was faulty and changed by the vendor. Now, i have latest update of Kernel and firmware and the 3ds is working like a breeze with 4.5.0 fw.
Thank you all and Merry Christmas.

I'm having the same problem as everyone else here.
We've recently brought a DS Lite for my sons 3rd birthday (not til the 10th of jan) he's a whizz with the mobile phones etc so as we've only brought him 1 game for his DS lite, we know he'll get through it quite easily so a friend gave me their old R4i card but didn't supply us with an SD as her son uses it in his R4.

The card is an R4i (NDSI, NDSL, NDS) and supports SDHC Micro SD 4g, 8g, 32g. I've got an old 8g card from my phone so I've formatted it and tried adding the firmware/kernel to it so my son can have a fair few games but unfortunately all I seem to get is a screen stuck at "LOADING" can anyone help me out so I can get it running right, I'm completely new to these R4i cards so happily admit i'm completely lost even after searching all over the net etc.

EDIT: Managed to sort the problem, I found out it was a fake R4 card, after abit more research I've found a firmware that allows it to load now just to get more games sorted so I've got a happy son on the 10th

Hi, I've been searching and downloading the systems files of R4 SD HC since my happy-go-lucky friend did something when he was checking out the games I had on my R4, while he was doing that he was pressing some buttons that made my R4 stuck at "Loading" screen. Are there any other software that might work on my DS Lite?

keep an eye on the forum for update links.....
Sorry, I know this is a really old thread but I'm posting because I had the same problem and the new firmware worked for me. However, I downloaded this firmware because my R4 recently started pausing at the loading screen.

That being said, I saved a copy of all my games and their save files from before the loading problem. The games now run but the save files are not loaded. Is there anyway to fix this issue? It's a really sad thing to have to start my games from scratch :/
