Can't load new games. HELP please.

Sorry if this has already been covered but i'm new to the site and can't find the answer myself on here.

My mate put the homebrew and coverfloader on my wii and i run games from my external harddrive and also use origional disc's. Never had a problem with this until i recently got the new Lego Star Wars for the kids and it won't let me run the game, it want's to upgrade my wii which i was told by my mate not to ever do.

How do i get around this problem???

I have some idea how to use programmes but no expert so could do with being talked through it.

The stuff he did was around two years ago and i've not updated anything yet.

Hope someone can help :-)

what system menu are you on?

first off to stop updates you need to install priiloader http://sites.google.com/site/complet...cks/priiloader and block disc and online updates.
install this Digital Kaos - Downloads - ciosx r19 full
also go into coverfloader settings and auto update it.

cios19 goes in the apps folder of sd card is run from homebrew channel.

Very frustrated!!!

Downloaded the priiloader and hacks files and put them on my sd card.

The hacks file is showing in the wad file but no sign of the priiloader file???

What could i be doing wrong??? Been on with this all day now

The Wii system i've got is 3.1E

My HBC is version 1.06 but i have the IoS36 on.

Also i can't find anywhere in coverfloader settings to auto update???

Just tried something else.....not sure what i have done but when i start HBC the priiloader mod is coming up.

When i click on it tho it is saying failed to get permission ISO 36 isn't patched

What do i do now?

go here BootMii.org download he hackmii installer and put it in your apps folder of sd card and start homebrew channel select hackmii installer and update your homebrew channel then priiloader should install

Got priiloader to work but having problems with ciosx19

it is going right through to mounting device.....ok

but reading IOS57-64 ERROR (ret=1) message is coming up.

I am getting the same message when i go into wad manager to load the hacks ini file.

Where do i block disc and online updates?

the hack ini. file goes on the root of the sd card (not in any other folder) start the wii and hold in the reset button you should then boot to priiloader where you can block updates.
if your still having trouble with ciox19 try this Digital Kaos - Downloads - cIOS249[57]-v20 for COD black ops instead download it and install with wad manager.

Thanks that one loaded no problem but i'm still having trouble with the hacks ini file.

It is on the root of the sd card but not being picked up??

It don't look like a file more like the info bits you get in files if you understand what i mean? Have you got a different link to download this file?

Tried everything but it just won't recognise the hack ini file!

you might have the wrong hack files try this one. extract it and swap for the one on the sd card.

no its not the sd card if i was you i would do a safe update to 4.2 using this Digital Kaos - Downloads - v4.2 safe firmware updater then use the hacks for 4.2

Hi mate been on hols and just trying to sort this out again. Trying to open the hacks link but it won't open? Saying file invalid?

Bigger problems now.

I have downloaded the safe upgrade and moved the apps floder to sd card like it said and went to open it with homebrew but no sign of the apps folder on the list???

Also my wii can't find my external hard drive to load games from coverfloader or read any origional games???

HELP!!!!
