Excellent tutorial mate! worked fine for me too, many thanks!
Just a quick question - when i go to the homebrew channel in the wii main menu it keeps saying that there is an update to the homebrew channel (version 1.0.1 replacing the installed version beta 9) should i update it or not? has anyone else experienced this or have any answers?

just boot up your wii; click on wii sign bottom right of screen; click on wii settings and the s/ware version should be displayed in the top right hand corner.

You have to scroll down the list m8, go back and get 3.2E.

                          Hiya,

Update: having lots of fun on my Wii However, a significant number of the games I've DLed from newsgroups won't run after I've burn them -

House Of The Dead 2 & 3 (appears to crash the Wii)
Warioware Smooth Moves ("this game cannot be run, consult your manual")
                          Bomberman Land ("consult manual")
                          Facebreaker KO Party ("consult manual")
Need For Speed Underground (error code #0002, I think it was)

Are some / all of the above incompatible with softmodding or can I do summink to make them work? Sorry to be slow, I'm trying my hardest to learn!

This is great, but I keep getting errors at step 3-2 - I think its my network (the settings are tested and correct) - any ideas?

delete all settings in the wireless menu m8, then redo them, make sure it connects to the internet, then retry step 3.2, you must be connected to the net to perform this step ok.
