What do you mean it used to detect it before I don't see IOS236 listed?
Well your sysCheck is typical Wii thats only been softmodded but you only have 12 stubs which you have to knock down to about 5.
You need to download ModMii 2.4 and run it from Windows. Now you have the sysCheck.csv file from the sysCheck which will be on the root of the SD card you can choose the SU option from the main menu. Type in the location of sysCheck.csv.
This will download all files into COPY_TO_SD sub folder. Add all files and folders to your SD card and run Homebrew with the SD card inserted. ModMii only adds 2 d2x v8.0 wads so install all 7 wads from d2x v8.0 final wad pack after you've added them to the wad folder on the SD card.
Run IOS236 installer from Homebrew first to install IOS36 into IOS236, you must do this before you install any other wads. Come back out then run Multi-Mod Manager and select WAD Manager and install all wads in that folder. I've posted this method in many threads on here if you read them.
You can run sysCheck again and post a new sysCheck report afterward installing all the wads.Keith

My USBLoader GX was detecting the hard drive earlier today, until I updated my Homebrew Browser from v0.3.9c to 0.3.9e. When I went back into the USBLoader, it was no longer detecting the hard drive.
I followed your instructions to the best of my ability but it still isn't detecting the hard drive. Here is the new report:

That new sysCheck looks ok.
Well the truth is coming out now this only happened after you updated Homebrew Browser from v0.3.9c to 0.3.9e. I had version 0.3.9c and I downloaded 0.3.9e and ran it with no problems.
I tried a couple of games on the HDD and they still work. I don't know what to suggest really only put 0.3.9c back and check its settings. I'm not sure how your drive is formatted but Disable USB mount.

Have to reconnect USB every time
Hi,
My USB actually works, but everytime I start the Wii, Loader GX cannot see the USD-drive. So I have to detach the drive from the port, start GX again, and the wait for it to tell me, that I have a slow device. Then I insert the USB again, and everyting works.
I have to do this every time I want to play.
Any ideas what is wrong? I use a 2,5' drive powered by the USB.Comment

Welcome to DK.
Without repeating myself yet again what we need to see is a sysCheckb19 report as instructed in that link. Now you've made 1 post you should be able to download.Hi,

Apart from the obvious the drive isn't compatible or its a USB powered drive or the drives isn't formatted corectly for the games you've added.
Some drives do take a while to spin up.Keith

Now with Syscheck
I know, but had to make a post to be able to download.
I have just softmodded the Wii (new to this), and I start in normal Wii-menu, go to HomeBrew and load GX. Most of the times GX cannot see the USB-drive, but if I wait to connect it, after loading GX, and GX say 'waiting for slow drive' it works, I can play all backups, but this is quite annoying. So I guess it's modded correct, and that the drive is compatible, otherwise it wouldn't work this way I quess. The drive starts as soon as I start the wii, and since I load GX manually I quess it has spinn-up. It's a WBFS-drive, 2,5' powered by USB.
My syscheck says:

Well I've posted what you need to do higher up this page if you read.
I wonder why you've installed only 2 d2x v8.0 wads?Well your sysCheck is typical Wii thats only been softmodded but you only have 15 stubs which you have to knock down to about 5.
You can run sysCheck again and post a new sysCheck report afterward installing all the wads.
After you've installed all the missing wads post a new sysCheck.Keith

I used this guide https://sites.google.com/site/comple...s/installation
Where only 249 and 250 are used.
But since I can actually use the backups, just having trouble with using the usb-drive without having to disconnect and then reconnect, can that have anything to do with what you say?Comment
